chevy 02 truck remote start alarm installed batery wont keep charge?

I installed a remote start alarm and it was working good recently the batery will go dead imidiatly after turning vehicle off I tryed a new batery and to unplug the alarm and it still wont keep charge .. when i jump the truck it will usaly run until shut off then the batery will be dead again. I cant figure out whats draining the batery help plz

If the battery’s dead immediately after driving, then the problem may be your alternator, or the fuse/fusible link between the alternator and the Battery Terminal. It’s also possible that your battery needs to be replaced, but I’d have the alternator checked before installing a new battery; if the alternator’s bad, the new battery may be damaged.

An improperly installed or defective alarm system can cause a battery drain, but not an instant battery drain. If the battery’s dead immediately after driving, then it’s not getting charged.
