i have a 2002 ford escape and am looking for a remote start. wats the best brand?

I would put my money into an ultra-start. I have installed a few different brands, and the ultra-start has had the fewest problems after installation
ultra-start also has a web site that will cover proper installation if you are doing it yourself.
